Often the greenhouse effect is considered a negative factor affecting life on earth. In fact, the greenhouse effect is very significant for mankind. If there were no existing atmosphere around Earth, heat radiation would be lost back into space. Without greenhouse gases, the average temperature of the Earth, which is now 15 °C, would drop to -18 °C, which would have a great impact on our existence.
