An online catch-up of Future Work 4's team before we launch our free Massive Open Online Courses in March! We can't wait to show the results of our 1-year efforts! It aims to mainstream the skills for the 21st century across students of all fields of study, especially targeting female learners. 👩‍💻1️⃣ The course in DIGITAL SKILLS addresses topics such as sound and reliable access to information, online communication and collaboration, content management with e-learning platforms & tools, and cybersecurity essentials. 2️⃣ The course in GREEN SKILLS will introduce students to the basics of ecosystems and the impact of human activity on nature and climate, renewability and non-waste management, as well as global problems and main goals for the future.3️⃣ The course in ENTREPRENEURSHIP SKILLS will set the grounds for business planning, ignite a sense of initiative, and educate students in marketing, sales, and financial management. 4️⃣ The SOCIAL & CAREER SKILLS course helps students improve their self-awareness, obtain knowledge of the megatrends and the labor market, improve decision-making and creative problem-solving, enhance their productivity, adaptability to career transitions and employability. Each course has a duration of 8 hours of learning including practical cases, examples, and challenges, with inspiring resources, self-study materials, mini-tasks with quizzes and tests, and interactive exercises on each topic, incorporated into a gamified learning platform. Upon completion, students will get micro-certificates, describing the obtained competencies. The MOOC will be piloted with 300 students in the 4 partner countries and will be widely promoted across the education system.
