On November 15, 2024, the Future Work 4's final conference was held in the Sofia University Auditorium. The event was opened by Prof. Reneta Bojankova, deputy. rector of SU, who emphasized the important role of the university in preserving the past and building bridges to the future. In this context, Sofia University is the natural place to discuss the key skills that the young generations will need. Prof. Krasen Stefanov from FMI welcomed the participants of the event - the international partners, representatives of the academic community, business, non-governmental organizations, teachers and students.The program started with a short presentation of the Future Work 4's project, with Tanya Yordanova talking about the goals and the achieved results in the project. Prof. Brunella Bote and Assoc. Jada Marinensi from LCU presented the online course, which has been translated into Bulgarian and has already been tested by over 750 participants from the partner countries. Prof. Nikolina Nikolova from Sofia University reviewed the module on key digital skills, and Dr. Daniela Novakova from CZU showed the methodology and the Green Skills Framework. Maria Lianou from InnoHive demonstrated the developed module for developing entrepreneurial skills and the use of game methods. Nevena Rakovska from BFE drew attention to the need to develop young people's skills for social and professional fulfillment in the Social and Career Skills module.The project partners participated in a panel discussion where they discussed the future challenges and prospects of the labor market.At the end of the conference, the other projects and initiatives of the Center for Technologies of the Information Society at FMI, SU were presented. Teodora Gandova from the NGO Links talked about the partnership with SU on the ORBIT project, which aims to promote Open Science and the development of citizen science skills. The conference ended with the assurance that HE is an important factor in the development of sustainable educational solutions and adaptation to the changing labor market.We were happy to meet teachers, students and education professionals to share the outcomes of our 2-year initiative. Today the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" hosted the final transnational meeting of the Future Work 4's project. The partners from the Business Foundation for Education/Фондация на бизнеса за образованието, Czech University of Life Sciences Prague / Institut vzdělávání a poradenství ČZU v Praze, Università degli Studi Link - Italy, and Innovation Hive - Greece, discussed the last steps of the project and plans for the future. The project exceeded more than twice it's targets by attracting more than 7️⃣2️⃣0️⃣ learners (planned 300) to the 4 gamified open online courses in 💻 Digital, 🌎 Green,💡Entrepreneurship, 🤝 Social & Career Skills. The users share high level of satisfaction with the quality and practical resources.Tomorrow the consortium will share the impressive results of the Erasmus+ initiative during the final conference at Sofia University's Aula.
